I feel honored that I am old enough to have seen him play. Some of my fondest memories from childhood are listening to the great Lakers/Celtics NBA Finals from the late 1960’s, on the huge living room console, with my father. I remember sneaking a transistor radio into my bed to hear the final minutes of the Finals game against the Knicks in 1970 (because it was past my bedtime), when Jerry hit “The Shot!” I yelled so loud my parents knew I wasn’t sleeping, and the jig was up. The memories are still flooding back, and probably will be for quite awhile! Rest easy, Mr. West, you will not be forgotten. This certified authentic autographed card is truly beautiful in its simplicity! There’s a Black & White photo of a very young Jerry West, wearing his West Virginia Mountaineers uniform, bordered in white, framed by gold trim.
