Description: Jurassic Park was an extremely popular movie when it was released in 1993. Tons of merch, especially dinosaur toys produced by Kenner, were just as popular. For sale is this "battle worn" Electronic Red Rex from 1993. This T.rex--which I nicknamed 'Sue' as a kid--has been played with lovingly by me, and then stowed away, for decades. It cannot stomp or roar anymore, and I haven't opened the body to get to the batteries. The rib clicks when pressed but no sound is emitted. The rex is missing one arm, and one leg has a tear near the calf (the video and pictures show this as clearly as possible). There are stray paint (?) marks on the face and body, and I do not know if these can be removed, as the rubber vinyl is different from the vinyl I am used to working with in pony toys (I don't trust acetone/nail polish remover on this toy). The bend in the tail is from storage, and the legs are bent from storage too. There are paint rubs all over this rex, but the face and belly are relatively intact. This would be a great restoration project for someone who loves Jurassic Park and the original Kenner toys as much as I do. Please note that I cannot stop the aging process with plastic toys--any/all noticeable defects are mentioned in this listing. Also note that while I have a pet cat, she stays away from the toys I am selling, as most/all have been in storage for years. The Kenner Red Rex will ship to you via USPS.
