Description: Early, collection worthy, Kellogg Switchboard and Supply Company candlestick phone made for the Postal Telegraph Company in the signature brown color exclusive to the PTC. The patent dates on the phone are 1901, 1907, and 1908. The service lable on the bottom shows that it was last serviced by Kellogg in 1931. The phone appears to be in original condition, though the mouthpiece is black bakelite. The receiver is the original brown bakelite and is in beautiful condition. The original braided cord is in good condition and is still flexible. The phone is sold as is. This is an antique phone, not a reproduction, and therefore not guaranteed to work.
