Description: Here’s one you don’t see often. Circa 1921 Kingsbury Toys Keene NH Artillery Gun Truck. This is the earlier version with open cab and closed hood. Gun mounted to the rear would shoot wooden “shells”. Include are 5 shells but I do not know if they are correct or original to this piece. A couple of the wheels show typically aging but all roll fine. The windup mechanism surprisingly works but seems too weak to propel vehicle across a flat surface. Roughly 12” in length. I do not know if the paint is correct and original but much if not all seems to be. Looks like a brown/khaki/olive blend. Unsure if/how the gun operates did not test it. Does not seems to raise with the wheel bit is moveable easily by hand. At any rate terrific hard to find Kingsbury piece here. Please consult photos to judge condition for yourself.
