Description: 1905 JF Small Size Silver Coin from Peru Republic Transitional Coin Dinero Seated Liberty Facing Right MS 66 For your Peruvian Coin Collection-PER026 Details Description: A beautiful uncirculated Peruvian silver small size coin. This is the 1905 JF Republic of Peru one or un dinero silver coin. The coin depicts the Liberty seated and facing right. Liberty is holding a staff in one hand and a shield that is sitting on the ground in the other on the obverse. The obverse has the legend "FIRME Y FELIZ POR LA UNION" surrounding the seated liberty and the denomination "UN DINO" below her. The reverse has the Peruvian arms within springs and having a small wreath above it. The reverse has the legend "REPUB: PERUANA LIMA .9 D: FINO J.F." surrounding the arms and the date 1905 below it. This is a small, about US cent size coin with a reeded edge. The coin is uncirculated, is graded as MS 66 (Mint State 66) by NGC and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. It lustrous, has no observable wear, and has great eye appeal. Please carefully review the photos presented as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1905. Mint: Lima Peru. Size and weight: This is a one dinero, which should weigh ~2.5 gm of 90% silver and measures ~18 mm in diameter. The coin has a reeded edge. References: It is KM #204.2.
