Description: This vintage real photo postcard features two Mandimbas standing at the edge of the jungle in Angola. They are dressed in their traditional clothing and wearing traditional jewelry. Note the jewelry; there is lots of it. The pair are likely father and son/daughter. Mandimba is a place, not a tribe, and the individuals seen in this postcard photo were probably from that area. Mandimba is located in north-western Mozambique. This postcard was published by Ferreira, Ribeiro & Osorio as part of a series (No.568). They were based in Luanda, Angola. The logo on the upper left side of the reverse of the card indicates that Angola was a Portuguese colony at the time that this postcard photograph was taken. This postcard has edge wear at the bottom border of the card. The postcard is in overall good condition (see scans).
