Description: In March 2001, the world’s first McDonald’s "McDiner" opened in Kokomo at the southeast corner of Washington Street and Lincoln Road. Unfortunately, the McDiner concept didn’t quite fit into McDonald’s long-term strategy, and ultimately the location was later converted back to a conventional McDonald's restaurant. Here's the Inside and Carryout Menu from the Kokomo McDiner. The front of the menu is signed. McDonald's chief executive at the time was Jack Greenberg. Was it him?
