Description: MCM VINTAGE pottery covered dish aqua blue cream colored lid for display Click images to enlarge Description Probably a wonderful piece of Americana, but it carries no marks or identification. Beautiful robin's egg blue or aqua coloring with a cream-colored lid. Seems to be in good condition as far as no chips, but a crack is appearing in the lid that shows in the photos both top and bottom. Lots and lots of crazing. Really kind of cool to look at and authentic, but probably not to use for food. Beautiful piece to add to a display, however. Great proportions and lines. Belongs in a MCM display with other aqua accents Would be a perfect base for a centerpiece to coordinate with your MCM table. Or a plant Lid is about 7 3/4" in diameter with an inset knob in the center. Base is about 4.5" at bottom and about 8" diameter at top. Please contact me if you have info. about this piece.
