Description: A sommerso technique, amber to green to yellow color, standing Luxardo bearded collie dog decanter. Made only in the years of 1961 and 1968 by Archimede Seguso for Luxardo which was a distillery (in Italy?). Label reads "product of Italy cherry torrelli padova - one US pint - alcohol by volume ardo - Italian cherry wine". Label is partially worn off. Possibly made for Imported Brands of Brooklyn New York. This decanter is pictured in the book "Archimede Seguso Mid-Mod Glass from Murano" by Leslie Pina, page 180 for $200-$250. Has not been cleaned. No nicks or breaks I can see, but small bearly noticeable rough surface right lip see photo. These are hard to find since most were discarded after use. The mouth is 1/2" opening for a cork.. Heighth is 13, girth is 3", 5 1/4 inch wide. Weighs 4 pounds. We ship all items well-wrapped and packaged.
