The co. eventually merged with Allied Stores of NY in 1955 and remained under that umbrella before being sold to and renamed Dillard's in about 1987. The chain had 4 locations: Downtown Nashville, Hickory Hollow Mall, Rivergate Mall, and The Mall at Green Hills.
