The unit provides a page input, page override input, and background music input. The unit provides voice activated switching to automatically cutoff music during a voice page. Volume controls shall be provided to control tones and background music levels. The unit provides two separate outputs, one page only output and one page with background music output.In connection with a telephone system, the unit has the ability to provide loop current to the system for access. In connection with a telephone system page port, a "dry" tip and ring connection are provided. A battery feed switch located on the unit turns the loop current on or off to the tip and ring connections.The unit provides both screw terminals and an RJ11 jack for page tip and ring input connections. Provided screw terminals control music input and all output connections.
