The letters/numbers are not on a contrasting clear or white ground. For example, the sticker is just individual computer-cut green/gold adhesive vinyl graphics and you have to put it on a light-colored surface to create the contrast. Measure the area you want to place the sticker before choosing the size. Note that some of the names are long and the sticker will be wider than it is tall in those cases. I will send you a link to my video with tips on applying the sticker after you order. Ideal surface to place it on is smooth metal, glass or plastic. The sticker will be less adhesive on a wall that's been painted with flat latex paint and even less on an uneven surface with grain such as stucco or unfinished wood. Will not adhere to clothing.
