Made with aircraft-quality aluminum, this cooler relies on cross-path air flow across heavy duty plates instead of the standard finned tube design of most radiators or oil coolers. According to the manufacturer, air flows through as many as 16 paths across 96 sturdy embossed plates to provide better cooling in a smaller package. The cooler is painted black for fast heat dissipation and has 1/2 female NPT fittings. The complete oil cooler kit includes the cooler, EMPI s oil bypass adapter with a 3/4 x 16 nipple, remote filter bracket,, a dual-relief oil pressure booster, high temperature oil hose, and one cooler bracket.
