Olympus OM-1 35mm SLR Film Camera Body Only Black Function Tested w/ OG Case

Description: Vintage full manual 35mm SLR film camera from Olympus, this OM-1 is functioning well and includes the original leather snap-over case and Olympus branded strap. All functions tested and working - no film testing performed. PLEASE NOTE: there are minor issues with the view through the viewfinder - this series of cameras are prone to these issues as they age. The issues do not render the viewfinder unusable - please see notes below. This camera uses a battery which is no longer in common production - a PX625 1.35 volt cell. It can be operated with certain modern cell batteries, such as 1.4 volt hearing aid batteries that are not an exact fit but can be used without camera modification. If you are not familiar with retrofitting batteries to this and other vintage camera systems, there are many resources available online. A 1.5 volt LR44 battery was used in testing the camera meter to verify proper operation, it is NOT included. Condition Notes:In viewfinder there are some etching marks in the lower left side that are on the prism - as well there is some light dust and other marks in the view, however these do not block or obscure the use of the viewfinder. All functions tested as working including all shutter speeds, meter tested with an LR44 battery (not included) and it is functioning close to center values compared to a modern DSLR in center weighted average mode. Self timer working. No film testing performed, condition of body seals unknown. Shutter is free of loud noises. Cosmetic condition shows some finish wear to brass at some edges, some finish loss on the base especially on battery cover. Battery port is clean. Case shows some light wear and tear from years of storage and use, no damage, tears, rips, etc. Other minor wear and tear not noted may be present as per a used vintage item.
