Description: Omega Seamaster De Ville automatic 18k solid yellow gold men’s watch. This is an authentic Omega Swiss made watch that is in very good condition for its age. The dial is Omega original Swiss made, silver in color, not redone, and in excellent condition — no blemishes or discoloration. The hands and markers are gold in color and look very nice. The case is 18k solid yellow gold and is 34 mm in size not including the crown. The case looks in great condition — minor scratches from normal wear by the previous owner. The case back is #L-6609 (provided by the watchmaker who cleaned and serviced it) and is 18k solid gold. The crown is an Omega original, has a signed Omega logo, and is showing some wear. The crystal is Omega original, has a signed Omega logo, and is in excellent condition — looks new, no visible scratches or marks. The movement is Omega automatic date, Caliber #563, 17 jewels. Serial #25324697. Circa 1967. It is keeping good time. The band is a slightly used, original Omega leather strap with an Omega buckle. I purchased this strap to replace an old brown band that came with the watch. The buckle was replaced recently with a vintage (1970s), gold-plated Omega buckle with “PLAQUE 6 SWISS” and sunburst markings since the original buckle that was provided by the watchmaker does not meet Omega quality standards. I purchased this watch as an investment +20 years ago. I never used it, kept it in a safe, and wound it once a year to check its operation. The watch was serviced over 20 years ago and should be cleaned and lubricated. I purchase it from a watchmaker who cleaned, oiled it, and provided the movement information above. I never opened the watch. The pictures of the watch movement, interior case back, and the watch with a brown band were provided by the watchmaker when I purchased the watch. The watch is signed 8x: case (inside and out), movement, crystal, crown, dial, leather strap and buckle. The watch would make a fine addition for a collector or as a gift for an Omega enthusiast.
