The caseback is complete with commemorative engravings detailing the legacy of the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. It has a black bezel with a tachymeter. The watch has a black 12-hour dial with luminous hands and indices, and an 18-jewel Swiss movement. Other features of the watch include a fold-over push-button deployant clasp bracelet with a 20 mm width. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters and comes with its original box, packaging, and manual/booklet. This Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is a perfect combination of sport and luxury, and is a must-have for any watch enthusiast. This watch is used and in excellent condition. It comes with all of its original packaging, documentation, manuals, booklets, tags, labels and accessories. This particular calibre and edition of the watch is no longer available from Omega. In addition to the typical paperwork, this watch also comes with a booklet detailing the thrilling story of the Moonwatch and its adventures in space with astronauts from NASA and other nations. To this day, it is the only watch that has been flight qualified by NASA for manned space missions and the only timepiece to survive the grueling trials that led to this qualification. The beautiful presentation box also includes a loupe, spring bar tool, commemorative medallion, two extra sets of spring bars and two additional straps alongside the gorgeous stainless steel bracelet - one of which is a replica of the oversized velcro strap worn overtop the astronauts spacesuits. Of note, the lug-to-lug is 48.2 mm and the crystal is made of Hesalite - a material similar to plexiglass crystal. This material was chosen to parallel that which was used in the original watches. It creates a fantastic domed/bubble effect not found easily in harder materials. While it is softer and easier to scuff, it is also much easier and less expensive to polish back to its original brilliance. While a sapphire crystal may require total replacement, Hesalite can typically be cleaned up in short order.
