Description: Got this balloon shaped bird cage on a garage sale recently. Really nice used condition. I have no idea how old it is. Latch and hinge work fine. Chain hanger is solid. Wire does have areas of paint and areas with no paint (see last 2 photos) which gives it that perfect antique look. Twisted wire in some areas for extra strength and decorative appeal. Item measures @17" tall x 12" wide (widest part of the dome) and 9" (base). The gap between the wires is @1" so this might not work well for the smaller birds ( I know little about bird-keeping so you be the judge). The wooden perch is easily removeable and only held in place by wedge pressure. If not useable for actual birds, it is a really nice decorative piece.
