Our customer is 60 yrs old & this belonged to her grandmother. Her grandmother & mother loved vintage and antiques. They both had very expensive tastes. Nothing is "cheap" in this house. Our customer said she believed her grandmother bought it in the 1940's. The lampshade appears to be handmade/hand-sewn from a shop in NY. The base has a round stamp saying it was made in Paris, France & is signed "Aug. Moreau" The lamp is 48" tall to the finial. The base is 9" in diameter. The lampshade is 17" in diameter and is 18" tall. The sculpture is 25" high. The sculpture plus the base is 30" high. The lamp is in very good condition. There are a few chips to the gold paint on the base. The last picture I provided will give you an idea of what the lamp looked like before its restoration & change in light configuration.
