Description: This is a wonderful, vintage illustration of an actionromance scene in 1959. Notice the great facial expressions, brightly painted clothing and overall colorful brilliance of the orange and yellows (after 60 years) in this painting. It was painted in gouache on illustration board (13 3/4 x 15 3/4") for a action book or magazine. This is one of over 20 paintings I purchased from a special collection of illustrations, several of which were signed by famous illustrators Walter Langhammer and Roger Hall. While this particular artwork is not signed it clearly is done by an extremely accomplished illustrator as demonstrated by the quality of this piece.
