These lamps are crafted in ceramic by true artisans, and are finished with a deep red multi-layered glaze. These lamps had a very limited initial production, so there are very few of these seen on the secondary market. The lamp shades are original to the pieces. These are in wonderful pre-loved condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a small area of staining on one lamp shade, visible from inside the shade. I have circled the area in the photos. This is very common, and can be repaired if perfection is your standard. It is not readily noticeable from the outside of the shade, so we never concerned ourselves with it. The exterior of the shades are in great condition, with no fraying, or staining. The lamps come with all of the original hardware, except for the lampshade holders (harps), which I replaced with heavy duty harps due to the weight of the finials. The lamps are 19 1/2" Long, and stand 27 1/2" tall with the shade attached. These lamps are heavy, weighing in at over 16 pounds each. The original retail price on these lamps was well over $4000.00. We have reluctantly chosen to sacrifice these lamps. These lamps come from a smoke free home.
