Description: Pre-Owned Mongoose Alloy Hubs taken off from a complete displayed bike, these are New Old Stock Hubs assembled in a bike which never been sold or used by anyone before. Only declared as 'Used' since it was taken off from the bike. It's a set of gold silver color alloy hubs for mountain or road bike 36 Hole Front & Rear with only Front Hub comes with Quick Release. No original box or plastic packaging found for these hubs. Expect these hubs with minor scratches and small dents as the assembled bike was left unattended in the warehouse with poor storage condition without wrapper or protector to protecting them from scratches etc, but overall is acceptable considering three decades age. The black nuts have sign of spanner tightening proven it was assembled before, with clear mark on threads for freewheel too. Great matching for old or mid school bike with Mongoose gold silver hubs. This hub fits 6-7 speed freewheels, but I do have locals who convert this hub into single speed BMX hub too to match their Mongoose BMX. Please bear in mind these hubs sitting in warehouse for more than 3 decades, thus do not expect it 100% brand new with perfection considering its age. Accept the condition before you bid. Perhaps re-apply some extra grease on the bearings to enhance its spinning performance. Simple polishing making these hubs shiny again. Mongoose decals on the hubs have sign of shelf life.
