Description: Ecuadorian Canoe Leaf The extremely long, showy, glossy, thick leaves on this climbing philodendron resemble an old Ecuadorian canoe. This is one of the larger varieties of philodendron with stems that can reach one inch in diameter and leaves to three feet in length while climbing. This unusual plant grows very well indoors.When growing on a coco pole the nodes will tighten up to two inches or so creating a gorgeous, full plant. He is a very well established one that had just pushed out 2 of its largest vibrant green new leaves with a more pronounced shape that is still hardening with another one on the way. Leaves measure 10.5" long by 5.5" wide with crazy long aerial roots that are growing into the moss pole, so needless to say the pole will be included. He is 36" tall by 22" wide. Furthermore, easy to care for without needing extra humidity to thrive, can be in a medium to bright indirect light area and water when the soil is dry.
