The ball does show signs of aging (toning) from its over 25-year age, as is quite common in balls from this era. This 67th Mid-summer Classic was played at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, the home of the Phillies. The game saw the National League shut out the American League All Stars by a score of 6-0.
