RCDM Body Mount Truss For The Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC Crawler Body SCX10 V1 & V2

Description: Hello Folks! I am offering up an RCDM (RC Don Manufacturing) custom made 3D printed body mount truss for the Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC 1/10 scale crawler body (RC rock crawler chassis and body not included). I designed this body truss to reinforce and properly support the Axial Jeep FC body and keep it from flexing (especially during rollover). This truss also hides the body supports behind the cab pillars for that ultimate scale look!!!This body truss system was custom made for the Axial FC 0.040" vacuum formed polycarbonate body (AXA31268) and is held in place with the factory Axial body posts and clips (not included). No modification is necessary to attach the body truss to both the SCX10 V1 and V2. There are two sets of holes, one set for the SCX10 V1 (56mm) and one for the SCX10 V2 chassis (72mm).This system is made for the serious Jeep FC "Mighty" fans that actually crawl their rigs. Any FC owner knows that the FC body is prone to creasing or cracking on rollover. I designed this truss to preserve the life of an Axial FC body and keep it looking good through the normal wear and tear it will receive out on the trail. Each truss set comes with pre-installed felt padding on each corner of the truss that help prevent the truss from scratching the paint inside of the body. I have even included a set of optional semi-scale seat backs (see pictures) that can be super-glued to the body truss to improve your FC's scale appearance!!!To install the truss system just insert two rear Axial body posts (not included) through the appropriate holes in the rear body mount and insert them into the shock towers until the body mount sits right on the towers. Then install your body clips (or screw shafts) into the shock towers which holds the rear mount in place. Then place the front body mount right over the existing body posts and secure it in place with two more body clips (not included). Then you can install the two carbon fiber side rods into the body mounts and snug up the set screws to hold them in place (do not over-tighten the set screws). Once the assembly is together you can adjust the height of the front body mount so that the carbon fiber side rods are parallel to the frame rails (see pictures). Drill out your polycarbonate FC body to match the mounting posts of the truss and clip it into place. You are now ready to hit the trail !!!Note: This body truss is ONLY guranteed to work with Axial SCX10 V1 and V2 platforms. This truss WILL NOT fit the Axial SCX10 V3 or Traxxas TRX-4. This body truss is designed to work with most stock and aftermarket bumpers which puts the body side panels about 10mm up from the stock rock sliders. You may need to adjust the height of your rock sliders with this truss installed or install an RCDM Bed Rail System (sold separately) which comes with side support plates made for this purpose.This design has been "rock" tested for many hours of crawling on some of the toughest terrain imaginable.
