RCDM Rear Body Brace For The Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC Rock Crawler Body / SCX10

Description: Hello Folks! I am offering up an RCDM (RC Don Manufacturing) custom made 3D printed rear body brace for the Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC 1/10 scale crawler body. I designed this body brace to reinforce the tailgate base of Axial Jeep FC body and keep it from flexing. This brace gives the body the support it needs to resist cracking at the corners and keep it's shape.This body brace system was custom made for the Axial FC 0.040" vacuum formed polycarbonate body (AXA31268) and is held in place with 8 - M2.6 x 6mm screws which are included. This kit also includes a drill jig that allows you to use a 7/64" drill bit (not included) to drill the body from the outside for the 8 brace screws. Just align the drill jig just on top of where the bumper molding is (or was) as seen in the photo (making sure to push the jig as far forward as it will go). Carefully drill the two outer fender flair holes (one on each side) using the drill jig and then test fit the brace to make sure the hole alignment is correct before moving on to the next 6 holes. Once you are finished drilling, discard the drill jig and install the screws. Note: Be careful to double check your screw alignment where the fender flairs are so that the end screw is centered in the face of the flair as in the photos. This design has been "rock" tested for many hours of crawling on some of the toughest terrain imaginable. Get your RCDM scale FC bed rails to protect your RC investment and improve scale appearance !!!This auction is for 1 black 3D printed ABS plastic rear body brace, 8 - M2.6 x 6mm hex socket button head screws and a screw alignment drill jig (RC rock crawler vehicle in pictures is not included).This kit will require a 1.5mm Allen wrench to assemble as well as a 7/64" drill bit to install the brace on the polycarbonate body (not included).
