Description: A rebuilt Fairbanks Morse FMJ4B3 magneto. Note: this magneto has two holes that were drilled in the side that have been filled in to seal up as can be seen in the first 4 pictures. This is used on Allis Chalmers tractor models B C CA R WC WD. This magneto was completely disassembled.All parts were cleaned and inspected.Front bearing was cleaned, and lubed, or replaced if defective.Rear bushing was removed and impregnated lubed for continuous lubrication and reinstalled.Magnets were remagnitized before installation.New points, and condenser were installed.Coil was tested and heat tested to insure it would not fail during operating temps, if failed was replaced with new.Front impulse coupler and pawl plate was cleaned, lubed, and installed.Rotor was cleaned and installedRear cover housing was blasted, and painted with rear bushing impregnated lubed, or replaced with new cover if defective.Distributor cap was cleaned, painted, and installed. Was assembled with new gaskets.Was test run on bench.Impulse works properly and spark jumps 3/8" at cranking speed. At run speed spark jumps 3/8", and run timing was checked, and is at 30 degrees as specified for this magneto. Magneto will come with one year written warranty, and also a mount gasket not pictured. A core price of $75 is included into the retail price and will be paid back to you when we receive your core (same as purchase) back and is determined to be in rebuildable condition.
