This unusual card stock notice measures approximately 4.5 by 3.5 inches in size, and I believe that it would have been inserted into the playbill for Katharine Cornell's production of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", featuring Katharine Cornell, Maurice Evans, Irby Marshall and Shelton Earp, choreographed by Martha Graham, and playing at the Martin Beck Theatre, in New York City, in 1935. The notice is in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, there are slight indentations along the top edge from two paper clips.
