Description: This sale is for a vintage 1976 Sears canister or cookie jar measuring approx. 9.5" tall, including the lid. The canister base part is in very good condition; no chips, cracks or paint loss. The lid is generally good, but has a few faults. Firstly, the egg shell may have some chipped areas along the edges. Also, at the chick's feet there is a small area of a shallow chip & missing paint. Not very noticeable, but not perfect either. Great, bright 1970's colors on this. The bottom is marked Sears 1976, Japan.
