Description: This listing is for a beautiful set of hand painted in the Baltimore Rose pattern in Limoges France, tea/coffee cups and saucers. These cups and saucers were ordered by Frank Empsall who was a reseller and was best known as the founder of Empsall's Department store from about 1907 to 1990 in Watertown, N.Y. Frank Empsall passed away in 1929. We have more of this particular pattern with his name in our eBay store. Each saucer measures 5-1/4" in diameter and each cup measures 4-1/8" in diameter (with the handle), 3-3/8" in diameter alone and is about 2" high. This three cups and saucers set is stamped on the back: Haviland France in green ink and Haviland &Co, Limoges FOR FRANK.A.EMPSALL & Co WATERTOWN.N.Y. in red ink. Some light wear on the gold trim due to age and use but overall in good condition, no chips or cracks. Please carefully view the photos as they are part of the description. All sales are final.
