Soffit Ceiling Mount Arm For Unifi Bullet Cameras (G3, G4, G5, Pro, AI)

Description: This is a camera mount that is compatible with the Unifi series of bullet cameras, including the G3, G4, G5 (Bullet and Pro), and AI.The mounting arm features a 35 degree bend which helps angle the camera when mounting under surfaces such as soffits and ceilings.The mount also offsets the camera from the mounting surface which may be needed to clear obstructions such as gutters and/or the soffit itself on an angled soffit/overhang.The mount is designed for the cable to come through the mounting surface and be totally hidden, but if you need a solution with cable routed on the surface, you can buy the cable pass-through baseplate separately. This baseplate can fit 6mm cable (including shielded cable) and can be rotated to let the cable enter at any angle.Stainless steel screws included. These mounts are heavy duty - the base is 5mm thick and the rest of the mount is a minimum of 4mm thick throughout. It is very sturdy and we have not tried to skimp on materials. We believe our mount design is much thicker and sturdier than other offerings on the market. The two sets of mounting holes are to accommodate both the older and newer style base plates that come with the Unifi bullet cameras (G3 Bullets had a different hole spacing than the new G5 Bullets). The standard version of this mount is 100mm (nearly 4") tall and it will create about 80mm (a little over 3") of space between the mounting surface and the camera body. We also offer a taller 150mm version which will create about 130mm of space between the mounting surface and the camera body. We include 5 stainless steel screws for installation (3 #6 screws for the base of the arm, 2 #8 screws for the camera baseplate). The camera base plate will actually attach to the arm with the screws included with the camera, but we also include screws for that too just for good measure. #8 screws will also work just fine for the 3 base screws, in case you preferred something beefier. If you are attaching to drywall or masonry then you will need to supply plastic wall anchors (readily and cheaply available at any hardware store). These are 3D printed ABS parts which we make in-house (so you can expect some small aesthetic imperfections) and we can make them in white or black (please contact us for other colors). ABS is a sturdy high temperature plastic with high impact resistance and good UV resistance compared to the more commonly used PLA plastic. ABS also accepts paint nicely, which will be useful if you plan to paint these to match your house colors. We suggest using a primer before painting.
