He created these iconic pieces on the Zuni Indian reservation in New Mexico with his wife Wanda. The necklace is expertly made of fine sterling silver with turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, jet or onyx, cowry shell and abalone shell. This is a mini-size, squash blossom style necklace with ten mosaic and channel inlay owls (five on each side) culminating to the multi stone naja-showing a wonderful scene of an owl looking at you on a branch with flowers and clouds in the sky!!! Please note: in the owls’ right eye on the naja, the onyx or jet is pushed in more than the left eye, making the right eye disappear in certain photographs taken. PLEASE NOTE: The photographs give the illusion the jewelry looks larger than it is; this is to show you the detail you could not see without a magnifying glass.
