Pauling was and remains the idol of Stax's premier guitarist Steve Cropper, who has written a brief note for this CD. Billy Vera has also written a piece for this project. This contains all of the Royales' major King R&B hits, including 'Think' (revived by James Brown in the 70s) and 'Dedicated To The One I Love'. It also contains many tracks that have never been reissued on U.K. CD, several of which have never been reissued.
