The Fisherman Barrett Toile Batiste Barkcloth Era Vintage Fabric Yardage Village

Description: This offering is for ONE remnant of unused washed very rare toile in a smooth cotton canvas...with scenes of fishing in what appears to be a European flavor design...these vintage toiles often have depictions that are ancient historical perspectives...this one showcasing castles...sailboats...fisherman with nets...and depictions of people. This smooth almost denim feeling cotton is not textured like a traditional barkcloth...but has the same design sense nonetheless. It is signed "Fisherman Hand Print by Barret". While it is in unused condition it has a couple very minor imperfections...it has a. fold line horizontally right in the middle and a small bit ion discoloration just along one part of one small area of the selvedge...(see last photo)...both are nothings in the scheme of all the perfection. A simple colorway of a creamy white ground with scenes in creamy and deepest dark turquoise blue greens...cocoa and dark chocolate with black accents. Tons of greatness from this unused yardage that'll be sure to make some high end PILLOWS. Measures 37 inches wide x 37 inches. Flawless. I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help.
