THIS IS THEIR ROYALE PATTERN THAT IS DISTINGUISHED BY ITS BAND OF BLACK & WHITE CHECKS AT THE EDGE AND A BLACK PEDESTAL. THIS PRETTY SERVER CAN BE USED FOR HORS D’OEUVRES AS WELL AS CAKE. I SHOT THE PHOTOS ON BOTH A WHITE & BLACK BACKGROUND IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE BEST IMPRESSION. THE SURFACE IS VERY SHINY. THE MAKER’S MARK IS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE PLATE. I BELIEVE TOSCANY MADE THIS PATTERN ON DISHES AS WELL. I THINK THE PRODUCTION DECADE WAS THE 1980s. THIS PATTERN WILL BLEND WELL WITH TOSCANY DONGHIA CHECKMATE.
