Each latch measures approximately 2" long and approximately 2" wide. The tongue extends just under 3/4" and can Fully Extend out the Front, or the Back. The knobs can spin. Each plate mounts with 4 wood screws, into the front, of the plate. One could get the screws, at a hardware store. The pieces must be at least 20+ years old.
