There are a lot of bengalensis out there, but this is an exceptionally big and nice one! It does have some of the normal defects for a shell this size---a slightly worn apex, normal growth lines, a stylish and unique repair by the mouth (a tattoo?, look closely at the photo and you will see that I'm not making it up, it really is stylish and unique!) Anyhow, this is a giant, dark-colored, beautifully pattern beauty with a smooth lip, and is the kind of rare shell people search the world over to find---and now it can look terrific sitting on your shelf!The ultra-perfect shell for a first-rate collection... As for normal disclaimers and such... I have tried my best to make sure the photos are accurate color-wise, but as everyone knows, color is a... well, it's tough.
