Description: Vintage US 8th Army 2" Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Red patch with embroidered white pattee cross. Patch is original issue with the red & white colors used to distinguish the flags of Armies. The white cross pattee divides the octagon into eight areas representing the numerical designation of the Army. Patch was worn in Korea during the Vietnam War 1964-1965. Patch is a cut edge octagon & measures approx 2" x 2". Good condition, but may need cleaned as there may be dirt or discoloration & has some loose strings or fray where removed from the uniform.
