Description: This is a neat, old time vase. Almost looks like airbrushed, with lightly wispy colors with highlights which looks as if it the color was removed like it was scratched out, exposing the white base glass. The under glass is almost like a translucent white.Measurements . . - 9" tall - 2 5/8" at top - 6" bottom - 1/8" glass thickness I have no idea the age or timeframe of this vase, only that it was from back in the day when things were cool. Bottom still has the original sticker from Pittsburgh Lamp Brass Glass Co, No 7027, Dec 50.Is in good condition considering age with no real issues. Looks like it has some sort of paint or something on the right hand side, a couple places (has a slight roughness to it). I did not try to get it off as I did not want to remove the finish, but leaving it for you to decide. Could be cleaned all over as well. Top is rough cut, with some fleabits all the way around, which may suggest it could have been slated for a lamp base bottom. Typically the tops had a brass or metal ring or cover over them to house the rest of the lamp parts and upper portion. If that is the case would be a really rare piece, being it has not been cut out of the bottom. No idea on that, though. If you have any info on this, please let me know, thanks in advance!
