Description: 1 cent Thomas Jefferson stamp was originally issued January 12, 1968 as part of the Prominent American Series.It was printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, using a Rotary Press. The stamp is green and is cancelled. It is in excellent condition.This stamp was on an envelope mailed to my mother in 1975. She loved stamps but did not professionally collect stamps. She saved various stamps throughout her life, saving and storing them in boxes in her home. She passed away and now I am offering her stamps to others who love them as she did.
