Description: RARE! Vintage 1940's WWII Dragon Embroidered Nylon Parachute Dress! Very rare, collectible, WWII dressing gown made from white parachute nylon! Lovely puff sleeves with gathering at tops of shoulders, and red smocking embroidery at cuffs. Notched lapel collar with decorative red cross-stitching along edges, down V neckline. Symmetrical red dragons and floral embroidery in shades of red, burgundy, golden yellow, and green on bodice. 4 snaps down front for closure Red smocking embroidery at nipped-in waist. Flared, sweeping skirt, that shows a bit of leg! Excellent condition. There are a few very faint discolorated marks near the bottom of the skirt. This is not seen when worn and only noticeable under close inspection (when I steamed it.) Shoulders: 14.5” from seam to seam, or 18” from shoulder tip to shoulder tip Bust: up to 38” Waist: 24”- 28” Hips: free Length: 60” Model is 5' 9" and measures 33-28-41. Accessories not included.
