Description: Offered for Sale is this gorgeous Art Deco Era Bakelite "clamper" bracelet. The bracelet is a gorgeous light yellow color and has been decorated with diagonal slash carvings to its front. The back of the bracelet is uncarved. Based on its patina, the styling and the materials used in its construction, I believe the bracelet was made in the 1930-1940's. A truly gorgeous Art Deco Era bracelet!! The bracelet is 1 1/4" wide in the front and then tapers down to 1" in the back. The inside dimensions are 1 3/4" from top to bottom and 2 1/4" from side to side. The bracelet weighs a chunky 65 grams. The condition of the bracelet is excellent. No chips, scratches, or other wear related condition issues were noted. The bracelet tested positive with Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) The tension of the spring in the clasp is outstanding and the bracelet snaps shut and stays shut when being worn. All four pins holding the clasp to the bracelet are original and seated firmly in place.
