Description: A Survivor! 1962 Gettelman Brewing Co., Milwaukee, WIS., 1/8th Beer Barrel, 3.87 Gallons! Here's a blast from the past...an old metal (I "think" aluminum, but I'm not positive) 1/8 beer barrel from Gettelman Brewing out of Milwaukee with a 9/62 date. To see the date, zoom in on picture #2 and you should see "9 62" stamped in the metal above the empty bung hole. NOTE: The 1/8th barrel keg is in good condition for display but if you are going to put liquid in it (like a Hot Rod gas tank) there is a small hole in the bottom (please see pictures #8 and #9). I did NOTHING to clean it up because I like things in original condition. This may or may not clean up nicer? The 1/8th barrel measures about 13" tall, by about 8 1/2" across on the top and bottom , and about 10 1/2" across at the wider center. I took many pictures to try and show you all aspects of the keg. The pictures were taken outside on a sunny day. Please review all of them as I hid nothing when taking the pictures.
