Vintage Hand Carved Canoe, Prisoner, Art, Maine State Prison Quality Carving

Description: My grandfather had this totally awesome carving in his den and I thought it looked really nice and then I flipped it over to see if it had any makers marks, and to my surprise, it was from the Maine state prison. It’s prisoner art. And boy is it nice. You could tell that the person took a lot of time and care to do this. I took good photographs of it. I showed the size and everything and inside and out and the bottom. It’s in very good condition. I think it displays beautifully, especially if you are a fisherman or something like that an outdoorsman. Because the color is really nice and the quality is excellent and having it handmade… It’s really pretty. And I know there are collectors for the prison art. So it’s pretty collectible. And it’s definitely vintage. Grandpa didn’t buy anything recently so it’s probably more than 25 years old. Maybe from the 80s or 70s or something like that. so make sure you take a look at every single picture. It’s in very nice condition. It’s exactly as pictured. It’s a nice medium to large size piece and it displays very nicely. It looked wonderful in my grandfather’s den. It’s definitely quality. So that’s it… Prisoner, art… I list just about everything and anything in my store so make sure you take a look at my store. I get such a variety that you wouldn’t believe it. So I try my best to keep up. But fresh is no problem. I’m surrounded by it. Fresh and cool stuff. I have my grandfather‘s estate and he was a garage sale in Chicago in the heyday and I’m the first in line at all of the estate sales. I’m number one normally. So I get good things so keep me in mind. And I’m not really an expert at anything so I just put it in auction and let you decide. This could be winning for you and I always pack accurately.
