Description: Please, read the condition description below before ordering. Here is a Vintage Hand-Painted Signed Round DISH Bowl, with One Handle, Pan-Shaped, from Portugal, Fish and Waves. It is beautifully hand-painted and signed on the top, and also signed a second time underneath. It is written Portugal underneath, and I can guarantee that it comes from Portugal. The way it is painted, the style, the colors are very typical of the 60's in Europe, it also has a slight Picasso inspiration. The artist who painted this is or was very talented! The theme is a very stylized fish and waves, almost abstract, but we can still recognize what it is supposed to be. Some of the waves look almost gold, there is some gold, but also some yellow, and brownish black. It is shaped like a pan, but it is not meant to be used to cook in it, it is more to contain some crudites or cookies, or for home decor, to contain knick-nacks, trinkets, jewelry, letters, coins, makeup or whatever you want. This object is gorgeous! Size: 7 5/8" across without counting the handle10 1/2" across by counting the handleabout 1 9/16" tall at the lowest heightabout 3" tall at the handle Condition: I see one crack on one side which looks more like a hairline, and teeny tiny chips on the edge outside. I see a fine beautiful cracking in the glaze, but I think that it was made purposely, it is a technique sometimes used in this kind of craft, according to how the colors are baked.
