Description: Vintage Hermes Cliquetis Silk Scarf By J. Abadie Blue Designer: Julie Abadie In a stunning fan-shaped composition, the "Cliquetis" square is inspired by a set of pen and black ink drawings from the Emile Hermès collection to present a series of military sabers. Featuring beautifully chiseled handles decorated with arabesques, plant, animal or simply geometric motifs, these sabers were attached to the belt by snap hooks and adorned with long cords and large braid pompoms. At the bottom right, a fringed sabretache (a flat bag originally worn by hussar regiments) completes the composition, surrounded by a chain made of snaffle bits.
