This piece features an impressive inlay on sides, drawers, and the top, which has an unusual "Maltese Cross" in the center. This chest has ample storage space with three large drawers, each featuring a pair of gilt bronze handles. Commode is displaying a beautiful, rich and vivid color wood, done after 18th century examples, this one with a rich honey color finish. It is approx 50 to 60 years of age, made in Italy or Spain. Chest is in very good used condition, showing light age / use wear if any (please see photos). Size is large and perfect to fit anywhere 47" wide x 24.75" deep x 32.75" in height.
