Description: This is an old plaited basket from the Northwest Coast, maybe Oregon, maybe more north. It is 8" diameter and 5" tall. Made from rods of wood twined with a grass or cane. There is a design visible inside in two colors. Only the top edge shows wear. This is from my late husband's collection. A very sturdy basket.
