Description: Here is a vintage Leslie 825 Speaker Cabinet, early 70's era, it has been refinished, was stained to dark walnut and a clear coat of polyurethane was applied, someone etched their name and a number on the rear control panel, the solid state amp on this unit doesn't seem to be working, I by-passed the amp and ran power directly to each of the two motors and both are working, there is a custom made power cord with on-off switch that comes with it but like I said when plugged in it does not power up the amp or speakers so there must be some problem with the amp, this Leslie could easily be adapted to use for guitar by someone who is good with electronics and wiring, just install a 1/4" jack on the metal plate on the rear wired directly to the speaker and then something else to power up the motors and switch from slow to fast, I'm not qualified to do this, I understand you can buy an adapter on Ebay to accomplish all this for around $100, has a cool older Leslie look, it also is on casters for easy mobility, this is for pickup in the Daytona Beach, FL area.
