Description: Minty restored WESTER BROS. - MONO straight razor. Razor has been cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed and waxed and is shave ready. Blade is Super clean, almost perfect. Looks like it was never used or honed in the past. See pics for more details. Minimal, if any hone wear. Blade was finished on a vintage Thuringian hone using one layer of tape on spine. Blade width measures between 5/8ths and 11/16ths. Razor length is 6 inches. Blade grind is a full hollow. No jimps on shank. Front side of shank is stamped - MONO. Back side of shank is stamped - WESTER BROS. - SOLINGEN-GERMANY. Scales are original gold Cracked Ice celluloid. They have been cleaned, polished and waxed. Overall, very nice, with only light signs of use and a small amount of warping. Overall, super nice. See pics for more details. Pins are tight and blade closes fine. Shave Ready. Very smooth shaver.
