It folds completely flat for easy storage over winter. Also, because it does fold, it can be adjusted to different size pots. It measures 37" tall X 19" across X 8" deep when open fully. It will accommodate a 4-8" pot depending on how open it is. I had always used this stand for a small pot of black-eyed susans and let them wrap around the decorative handle. It was painted white a few years ago but could use a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.
